<p>You can find the User Management section by clicking on the <a href="https://order.getdqd.com/au/cms/staff" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;"><strong>“Staff”</strong></a> tab in the left hand menu.</p><h1><strong>Managing Users</strong></h1><p>You can disable or enable users by clicking on the toggle switch next to their name. Disabled users will not be able to log in to the DQ Pro app. Tap on a user to reveal further options such as “Change Name”, “Reset Password” and “Change Role”.</p><p>Once you have selected a user you can view further details about their performance. You can update the short term selection by using the date selector in the bottom right corner.</p><h1><a href="https://help.getdqd.com/cms/general/user-managment#creating-a-user" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;"><strong>​</strong></a><strong>Creating a User</strong></h1><p>To add a new user, tap the <strong>+</strong> symbol at the top right of the staff list. They can create and edit users, change venue settings and parameters and view reports and data. Admins are the only user with access to the backend CMS.</p><h3><a href="https://help.getdqd.com/cms/general/user-managment#manager" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;"><strong>​</strong></a><strong>Manager</strong></h3><p>Managers (by default) have full access to the app for operational purposes. They can view all orders and reports for trading period. They can also assign users, send messages, manage and refund all payments.</p><h3><a href="https://help.getdqd.com/cms/general/user-managment#waiter" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;"><strong>​</strong></a><strong>Waiter</strong></h3><p>Waiters (by default) have access to the app, and can view and place orders and for the table/s they are assigned to. They can view booking and guest information relating to the tables they are assigned to. They can also cancel their own orders and void items providing a payment has not been taken.</p><h3><a href="https://help.getdqd.com/cms/general/user-managment#runner" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;"><strong>​</strong></a><strong>Runner</strong></h3><p>Runners (by default) have access to the app to view orders and manage orders. They cannot make orders or close out tablets. They can also accept runner requests from waiters.</p><h1><a href="https://help.getdqd.com/cms/general/user-managment#permissions" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;"><strong>​</strong></a><strong>Permissions</strong></h1><p>The standard roles described previously can be customised to suit the access levels you prefer for your team. More details about the specific access each permission provides to a user can be found <a href="https://help.getdqd.com/cms/general/cms/general/permissions" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;"><strong>here</strong></a>.</p><h3><strong>Customising Default Permissions</strong></h3><p>On the <a href="https://order.getdqd.com/au/cms/staff" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;"><strong>“Staff”</strong></a> page of the CMS, users are organized according to their role type.</p><p>To modify a role’s permissions:</p><ul><li><p>Click on the three dots located to the right of the User Type. This will allow you to enable or disable permissions for users.</p></li></ul><p>ℹ️ <strong>Whenever a modification is made to the permissions associated with a role, the adjustment will immediately affect all users assigned to that role. Should you need to alter permissions for just one individual, it is advisable to create a distinct role type for this purpose.</strong></p><p><a href="https://help.getdqd.com/operations/general/permissions" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;">Learn more about role customization and permissions.</a></p><h3><strong>Adding New Role Types</strong></h3><p>You can add new role types to expand or restrict the permissions of some staff members.</p><p>To add a new role type, navigate to the base of the <a href="https://order.getdqd.com/au/cms/staff" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;"><strong>“Staff”</strong></a> page of the CMS and select “Add new role”. You will be able to provide a new, description and set permissions.</p><h1><strong>Changing Roles</strong></h1><p>You can move users between roles in the <a href="https://order.getdqd.com/au/cms/staff" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;"><strong>“Staff”</strong></a> page of the CMS.</p><p>Select the user you wish to change and select “Change Role” under their name. The new role will apply to that user instantly.</p><p><br></p>
