<ol class="steps-list"><li>REVIEW PRE-ARRANGED BOOKINGS To plan for the service period, start by scanning upcoming bookings and reviewing table availability.In the DQ Pro app, go to the Bookings tab. You’ll only see bookings related to the upcoming service period. For bookings more than 48 hours in the future, please log in to the CMS (see Managing Bookings).Things to check:<a href="https://help.getdqd.com/operations/floor/night-setup#are-bookings-fully-paid%3F" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;">​</a>Are bookings fully paid?<ul><li>Payment status is shown by the color of the booking cost at the bottom right of the booking tile.<ul><li>Red outline: Payments still outstanding.</li><li>Green outline: Booking is fully paid.</li></ul></li></ul>To view payment details:<ol class="steps-list"><li>Tap on the booking.</li><li>Navigate to the Payments section.</li><li>Review payments made and any outstanding balances.</li></ol>Do all bookings have a complete guest list?<ul><li>The number of guests is shown under the booking name as ”# Guests”.</li><li>Tap on this tile to expand and view all listed guests.</li></ul>To prompt the booker to complete their guest list:<ol class="steps-list"><li>Tap on the booking.</li><li>Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.</li><li>Select “Request Guest List”.</li></ol>This sends an SMS or email to the booker with a link to complete and share the guest list.<a href="https://help.getdqd.com/operations/floor/night-setup#when-are-guests-expected-to-arrive%3F" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;">​</a>When are guests expected to arrive?<ul><li>If arrival times are active at your venue, the expected arrival time will be displayed under the booking status.</li></ul>To add or change an arrival time:<ol class="steps-list"><li>Tap on the booking.</li><li>Tap on the Guests section.</li><li>Locate “Arrival Time” and select a time from the dropdown.</li></ol></li><li>ADD LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS If a booking wasn’t made online or needs to be added last-minute, you can create one using the DQ Pro app.<a href="https://help.getdqd.com/operations/floor/night-setup#how-to-add-a-booking%3A" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;">​</a>How to add a booking:<ol class="steps-list"><li>Tap the Bookings tab in DQ Pro or access the Bookings page in the DQ CMS.</li><li>Tap the “+” icon at the top right and select the event you’re booking for.</li><li>Select the seating option or package to apply.</li><li>Choose an existing guest or tap “Select Guest” to create a new one.</li><li>Tap “Select Table” to assign the guest to a table.</li><li>The information shown is a quote — it must be saved before editing. Tap “Save Booking”, then make any changes to guests or payments.</li></ol><blockquote>Creating a booking will trigger a confirmation via email or SMS. Communication preferences can be managed in the CMS.</blockquote></li><li>ACTIVATE ROSTERED STAFF MEMBERS To manage access and ensure system security, activate users at the start of their shift and deactivate them when they’re rostered off.To activate users:<ol class="steps-list"><li>Go to the Tables tab.</li><li>Tap the Settings button in the top-right corner.</li><li>Find the users and toggle them to “Active”.</li></ol>Follow the same steps to deactivate users.<blockquote>While deactivated, users will not have access to any DQ Pro app functionality.</blockquote>⚠️ Security warning: It may take up to 15 minutes for access to be revoked after a user is disabled.</li><li>ASSIGN STAFF TO TABLESAssign staff to tables so they’re aware of their responsibilities and booking statuses.<a href="https://help.getdqd.com/operations/floor/night-setup#to-assign-staff%3A" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="cursor-pointer box-border font-semibold border-b hover:border-b-[2px] border-[rgb(24,189,202)] transition-all duration-75" style="text-decoration: none; color: inherit;">​</a>To assign staff:<ol class="steps-list"><li>Go to the Tables tab.</li><li>Tap the clipboard icon in the top-right corner.</li><li>Tap the “+” button next to the desired table and select a staff member.</li><li>To remove an assignment, tap on the staff member’s name.</li></ol><blockquote>Assigned staff will receive a notification in the DQ Pro app.</blockquote></li></ol>
